‘Staying positive’: Josh Davis thanks community, 3AW listeners for ‘unbelievable support’
The young man who was left serious spinal injuries after he fell into shallow water while camping with friends says he has been touched by the “unbelievable” support.
Yesterday, Neil Mitchell detailed a fundraiser for Josh Davis, 25, who faces a long road ahead and is currently paralysed from the shoulders down.
It has been a rough few years for the tight-knit community after the death of one-punch victim Patrick Cronin, one of Josh’s closest friends.
“I’m a positive person in general, I’ve got a positive outlook on my future I’ve got high hopes for what I hope to achieve in the coming years,” Josh said.
“It’s only early days.”
