State funeral for Shane Warne to be held at MCG
The state funeral for cricket great Shane Warne will be held at the MCG on Wednesday, March 30, the state government has confirmed.
The service will be held in the evening, with an exact time yet to be finalised.
The 52-year-old died of a suspected heart attack on the island of Koh Samui in Thailand last Friday.
Premier Daniel Andrews took to Twitter to announce details of the event, saying tickets will be available soon.

Victorians will be able to pay tribute to Shane and his contribution our state, and his sport, at a memorial service at the MCG on the evening of March 30th.
