St Arnaud farm spreads Christmas cheer with a display of painted hay bales

A farm just outside St Arnaud is spreading Christmas cheer with a display of painted hay bales.

Matilda Douglas told Nick McCallum the festive feeling can get lost amid the busy harvest period, and this is one small way to bring it back.

She said many people have enjoyed the display, especially families with small children. 

Matilda and her sister, Polly, will set up a roadside stop with drinks and lollies for people travelling on Christmas eve.
