Sports medicine expert explains why Clayton Oliver’s hamstring injury is ‘complex’ and ‘disastrous’
The last few weeks for Demons player, Clayton Oliver, has been described as “disastrous” as the player’s recovery of a hamstring injury could rule him out for another month.
Professor of sports medicine at La Trobe University, Dr Peter Brunker, says the hamstring is a “complex muscle.”
“It’s actually three muscles … he initially injured one, and then the second time he injured one of the other ones,” he told Sam McClure and Jimmy Bartel.
