Speed camera system on Peninsula Link destroyed in suspected attack

A traffic camera system on the Morning Peninsula has sabotaged in a suspected arson attack.

The photo was snapped up on Wednesday by Cam at the Loders Road Bridge on the Peninsula Link at Moorooduc. 

Cam tells Neil Mitchell he doesn’t believe it’s the first time this has happened.

‘The camera is still there, it’s all black. The door just keeps swinging.’

‘You can’t see if there’s any equipment in it, but it has probably been taken out anyway,’ Cam tells 3AW Mornings.
