Speed camera operator rammed in another disturbing attack

RED HOT TIP CONFIRMED

Another speed camera operator has been targeted in a disturbing incident.

A traffic camera vehicle was rammed by a 4WD with its number plates removed in Wollert on the Queen’s Birthday holiday.

The vehicle deliberately drove into the car parked beside Craigieburn Road three times at about 1.40am.

The operator wasn’t injured in the incident, but the car sustained significant damage and had to be towed from the scene.

The attack comes as part of a concerning string of incidents.

Last month, Neil Mitchell heard about three attacks on speed camera operators within a few weeks.
