‘Special players’: Matthew Lloyd lauds Pendlebury and Sidebottom’s longevity

The Magpies had many critics after their opening-round loss to the Giants, and their list was labelled “too old”.

Since that defeat, Collingwood has won six games in a row and they continue to be led by their veteran superstars Scott Pendlebury and Steele Sidebottom.

“They’re special players, they make decisions, such clean decisions when you think they’re going to be tackled,” Lloyd said on 3AW Football.
