Schools consider extreme measures amid serious teacher shortage
Schools are warning they’ll have redirect resources, reduce curriculum offerings and combine or split classes as they grapple with a teacher shortage.

The Age is reporting schools are scrambling to fill core classes such as maths and English amid hundreds of teaching vacancies.
But, in a written statement, the Department of Education claims the “overwhelming majority of government schools are fully staffed.
