Sofia Levin’s tips on how to ‘not be a jerk’ if you’re dining out this weekend
With dine-in returning at Melbourne eateries at midnight last night, Melburnians are flocking to their favourite restaurants, bars, pubs and cafes.
3AW Breakfast food reviewer, Sofia Levin, says there are a few things everyone dining out can do to “just not be a jerk”, and to help ensure things run smoothly for eateries.
“The onus should be on the diner to do the right thing,” she told Ross and Russel.
“It is a super celebratory time but there are a few ways to just not be a jerk.”
Sofia’s tips “to just not be a jerk” if you’re dining out this weekend:
- Stick to your booking time.
- Make sure you’re fine with pre-paying, if that’s what the restaurant wants, or paying a deposit.
- Scan your QR code on the way in and have your double-vaxxed passport all ready to go.
- Be patient, be kind and go hungry!
