St Kilda ruckman Rowan Marshall was full of praise for teammate Jack Higgins after his late heroics against Carlton.

Marshall told 3AW it was a “really special feeling” getting the win today, and has been pleased with the way the team has finished off the season.

“That was one of the best goals I’ve ever seen,” he said.
