‘Smooth mover’: The teammate who has impressed Gryan Miers during the pre-season

Geelong small forward Gryan Miers has been impressed with new recruit Jack Martin during the pre-season, as the Cats aim for another strong campaign in 2025.

Miers told Jimmy Bartel on 3AW’s Wide World of Sports the former Carlton forward is a “smooth mover”, and said the team is in a “really great position” as the season fast approaches.

“I’m really confident with how we’ve improved on last year but also stayed the same in some areas that we were really good at,” Miers said.
