Small business director shuts down idea of public holiday for the King’s coronation
The idea of a public holiday for the King’s coronation on May 6 has been quickly shut down by a small business director.
It comes after Western Australian Premier Mark McGowan said he’d consider a public holiday for the occasion.
“Don’t expect small business families to have to pay for you not to work to celebrate that, when there’s no work being done,” Bill Lang, Executive Director at Small Business Australia, told Dee Dee.
