Sly sheds light on more details regarding Sam ‘The Punisher’ Abdulrahim’s execution
Veteran crime reporter John Silvester, also known as Sly of the Underworld, has shed light on the details surrounding the execution of Sam “The Punisher” Abdulrahim.
The underworld figure was gunned down in Preston yesterday morning, and Sly stated Abdulrahim wouldn’t have been surprised when the gun was pointed at him.
“The general consensus is that an organised crime boss put a $1 million contract on him from overseas,” Sly said on 3AW Breakfast.

Homicide detectives are reportedly hunting four men involved in the murder on High Street, and are expected to receive a comprehensive file from gangland investigators, containing a list of his enemies.
“Everybody knew this was coming, it was just a matter of the location and the time,” Sly said.
“I don’t know if you’d call it a war, it was more like a hunting expedition, he wasn’t fighting back, he was trying to keep one step ahead.”
