Almost 48 years on from the Easey Street murders, a man is expected to be formally charged today over the deaths of Collingwood housemates Suzanne Armstrong and Susan Bartlett.

Perry Kouroumblis touched down in Melbourne late last night after being extradited from Rome, and veteran crime reporter Jon ‘Sly’ Silvester explained how this extradition differs from the norm.

“It’s certainly different in the way that these sorts of extraditions are done,” Sly told Ross and Russel on 3AW Breakfast.
