‘Sitting ducks’: Matthew Lloyd’s assessment of the Bombers in the final minutes of Crows loss

Matthew Lloyd was very critical of Essendon’s performance in the dying stages of Friday night’s match against Adelaide, labelling the side “sitting ducks” in the last four minutes.

The Bombers conceded the last three goals of the game to lose by two points, with the club great stating “this can take a lot to come back from when you lose a game like this”.

“There’s still time for them, but that is a bad loss,” Lloyd said.
