‘Sick and tired’: Indigenous leader takes aim at AFLW over Queen snub
Indigenous leader Warren Mundine has taken aim at the AFL over its controversial decision to abandon a minute’s silence for the Queen before AFLW games at the weekend, because it was Indigenous Round.
He told Neil Mitchell he found the move “insulting” and patronising.
“I am just getting sick and tired, and I’ll say it, of white people and white organisations telling me how I should feel,” he said.
