Shocked father appeals for help after beloved family dog mauled by Rottweiler

An exasperated father is lost for words after his family’s beloved dog was killed by a Rottweiler, with the council opting not to take any further action.

A toy Cavoodle was attacked by a neighbour’s dog, with the council telling the shocked family no further action would be taken.

Jess appealed to 3AW Drive for assistance, saying more needed to be done to help prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

“The investigation (into what took place) seemed to be over before it started,” he said on 3AW.

“They interviewed us on the Thursday morning and the case was closed by the afternoon.”
