Shiel’s move to Essendon confirmed

After over a week of protracted negotiations, Dylan Shiel has finally sealed his desired move to Essendon.

List boss Adrian Dodoro (Essendon) and Jason McCartney (GWS) have come to terms on a deal that sees the gun 25-year-old switch from the Giants to the Bombers.

The deal was done with less than 30 minutes left in the trade period.

Essendon give up pick nine as well as a future first-rounder.

The Dons gets a future second-round pick back.
