‘She was drunk’: Why Tom Elliott wants politicians to be breath tested at work
Tom Elliott has called for politicians to be breath tested at work after hearing Nationals deputy leader Perin Davey speaking at a Senate hearing, with the 3AW Mornings host thinking “she was drunk”.
Ms Davey has admitted to drinking before the hearing, but maintains she wasn’t drunk.
“The idea that it is okay to drink half a bottle of wine and then go back to work is ridiculous,” Elliott said.
