Homicide squad detectives say they strongly believe the death of Cowes mum Samantha Fraser is suspicious.

Ms Fraser dropped her three children at school on Monday morning and went for a coffee with friends.

But when she failed to show up for a midday appointment and school pick-up, police were called.

The 38-year-old was found dead in the garage of her Seagrove Way home.

The results of a post-mortem examination have have returned and homicide squad detectives say they strongly suggest her death is suspicious.

Detective Steve Sheahan told Neil police initially were called to conduct a welfare check on the Monday, when she failed to pick up her three children, two young girls and a boy, from school.

“We’re also investigating as to whether there’s been interference with the crime scene,” Det. Sheahan said.
