Severe weather warning issued for Victoria
Strap yourselves in, Victoria.
The weather bureau has issued a severe weather warning for much of the state on Tuesday.
Howling winds and swells above seven metres have been predicted.
Senior Forecaster James Taylor says it will be most dangerous in elevated and coastal areas.
‘The winds are going to be very strong, kicking up in the early hours of tomorrow morning,’ he told 3AW News.
‘We’re expecting gusts in the order of at least 90 to 100km/h across the western and southern parts of Victoria, but also the alpine areas.’
