Eight dead in Texas shooting

Eight people have been killed, including the gunman, when a man opened fire at a house in Plano, Texas.

Police were called after shots were heard about 8pm local time, officers then shot and killed the gunman at the scene.

Neighbours told local media the shooting occurred during a party where people were watching the Dallas Cowboys.
