Seven cars involved in major Monash Freeway crash

There’s been a major crash on the Monash Freeway near Mulgrave on Wednesday afternoon.

Two inbound lanes prior to EastLink were earlier closed, with emergency services quickly on the scene.

The Department of Transport’s Chris Miller had the latest on the incident, saying there were severe delays both inbound and outbound.

“There’s seven cars involved,” he told 3AW Drive.
