Serena would beat Kyrgios, says Tony Jones

Tony Jones says tennis legend Serena Williams would beat Nick Kyrgios.

It follows a controversial claim from John McEnroe that Williams would be ranked “like 700 in the world” if she was on the men’s tour.

But TJ says Williams would beat the world No.20, who he described as “brittle” mentally.

“It’s a mind game, as well,” TJ said on 3AW Mornings.

“I think her mental strength alone would see her get the better of somebody like Nick Kyrgios.

“I’d back her in.”
