Screaming bird scares burglar from Mickleham home

A burglar has fled a Mickleham home empty-handed after being scared off by a bird screaming “mum” incessantly.

The Rumour File was alerted to the news on Friday morning, with Alex, the owner, explaining what happened on 3AW Drive.

“She’s obviously given them the shock of their lives,” she said.
