Olympic bronze medallist Scotty James says he’s most looking forward to heading back to his hometown of Warrandyte to celebrate his historic win.

And a well-earned holiday after a chaotic 12 months in the lead-up to the Games in Pyeongchang.

The 23-year-old spoke to Neil Mitchell about what’s next, after taking home the bronze in the halfpipe after a thrilling contest with Japan’s Ayumu Hirano and champion Shaun White.

He says he’s got a way to go before he reaches the same heights as White, but he’s got a lot more to give.

“I got some work to do on my medal tally and hopefully that comes along with all of those medals,” he said.
