Scott Morrison issues border ultimatum to Australian states

Scott Morrison has told Australia’s states they need to remove border restrictions by Christmas.

But does Prime Minister have constitutional power to do so?

“They could do that, but there are a number of reasons why they wouldn’t,” Anne Twomey, Professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Sydney, told Tom Elliott.
