Sam Walsh extends Carlton contract

Sam Walsh has already re-signed with Carlton.

Last year’s No.1 draft pick, who has been brilliant in his opening four games for the Blues, has extended his contract by two years.

The young midfielder is now tied to Carlton until the end of 2022.

Walsh was last week’s NAB Rising Star nominee.

He’s heavily favoured to win the award.
