Sam and Richo discuss comments made by Demons president Kate Roffey which raised some eyebrows

Sam McClure has pointed out comments made by Demons president Kate Roffey about wanting Melbourne to be like Collingwood.

McClure revealed he reached out to Roffey over her comments and shared some of the quotes including a bid to the Demons fanbase to attend more shows.

“That is a honest, candid, call to arms, from a Melbourne president,” he said.

Matthew Richardson says Melbourne has a similar fanbase to other clubs such as Richmond and Carlton.

“The numbers are out there … there’s nothing wrong with aspiring to wanting to be the best though,” he said.
