Saints captain had ‘optimism’ about playing against Geelong at Marvel Stadium

The Saints bounced back in a big way on Saturday night, holding off the fast-finishing Cats at Marvel Stadium.

St Kilda captain Jack Steele joined 3AW Football and was asked about their fantastic record against Geelong at Marvel Stadium.

“Always had a bit of optimism about playing them there,” Steele said on 3AW Football.

“I had a lot of confidence with us playing there (Marvel), first home game of the year knowing the Saints fans would come out and help us get across the line.”
