Today, the Herald Sun today reports Superintendent Craig Gillard is on leave following what’s been described as a ‘workplace dispute’.
Mr Gillard mistakenly believed his phone call with Assistant Commissioner Tess Walsh (pictured above) had finished when he let fly with a few comments about her.
Ms Walsh is believed to have heard every word.
It comes as IBAC confirmed it will review all racism complaints handled by the now former Assistant Commissioner Brett Guerin, who quit amid an IBAC investigation into him about homophobic and racially derogatory comments made under a false name online.
