RUMOUR FILE: Patrick Dangerfield and Geelong have bookmakers sweating
RUMOUR CONFIRMED: Patrick Dangerfield’s stunning start to life at Geelong has already got bookmakers sweating, it seems.
The former Adelaide Crow gathered more than 40 disposals and was truly dynamic in the Cats’ 30-point Round 1 upset over Hawthorn.
‘Cash Out’ told 3AW Breakfast he’d placed an optimistic $5 bet on a Geelong premiership-Patrick Dangerfield Brownlow Medal double at long odds at the end of last year.
‘It was for a $1000 return and they’re already offering $15,’ he told Ross and John.

Ando reckons he saw the Brownlow medallist play at the weekend, but it wasn’t Dangerfield.
Nor was it Gary Ablett, Nat Fyfe or Marcus Bontempelli.
‘Luke Parker. He’s a wonderful player,’ Ando said.
