Rumour File: Man has lucky escape in wild hot air balloon ride

A man has managed to climb back into the basket of a hot air balloon, after it took off with him hanging from the outside, the Rumour File heard this morning.

Ross and John were told the ride, believed to be over the Yarra Valley, took a dramatic turn when the pilot took off without his passenger inside the basket.

“A young man had a very lucky escape when at the end of a hot-air balloon ride the pilot fired up the gas and took off with him hanging from the outside of the basket,” The Rumour File was told.

“Fortunately after hanging on for dear life he managed to climb into the basket and escape what would have been a tragic fall.”
