Rumour confirmed: New trucks in fight against terrorism

ANOTHER RUMOUR FILE CONFIRMED

Victoria Police will soon have access to new anti-terror trucks.

Ross and John’s Rumour File this morning reported the trucks will enable police to ram suspects off the road.

Police Minister Lisa Neville has confirmed armoured vehicles will be added to the police fleet.

She says they will be used for a number of purposes.

“They’re particularly here for those large-scale, preventing-terrorist actions, so that you’ve got well-protected tactical police able to get to those incidences,” Ms Neville said.
