RUMOUR CONFIRMED: Manager mistakenly picks up 500 eggs instead of Easter eggs

RUMOUR CONFIRMED: A manager at Chirnside Park Country Club was left red-faced after he was sent out to buy 500 chocolate Easter eggs, but came back with 500 fresh ones.

‘Extra Eggstravaganza’ told The Rumour File the eggs were for a Good Friday children’s charity function.

A note was left for the manager to ‘pick up 500 eggs.’

He took the message literally.

Fortunately, the supermarket saw the funny side and helped exchange the ‘real’ eggs for chocolate ones.

All proceeds from the charity function tomorrow will go to the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
