Rumour confirmed: High vis clad thieves make off with Australia Post parcels

Two people in fluoro gear and balaclavas have stolen parcels from a delivery centre in Melbourne’s outer east.

First heard on The Rumour File this morning, the pair first managed to leave the centre unnoticed by workers.

“It was only when they returned someone challenged them, it was then they took off,” Ross and John were told.

Australia Post have since confirmed two intruders entered their Mooroolbark delivery centre last Tuesday morning.

A statement from the company reads: “A small number of parcels were taken, with some later found, and we are working closely with authorities to assist with their investigation”.
