“My imaginary train’s faster than your imaginary train!”: Ross’s take on the latest election promise
The Opposition has pitched a massive $19 billion plan to build a European-style fast train system to Victoria, if they win the November state election.
As reported in the Herald Sun, the plan includes 200km/hr train services to encourage more people to live in the country rather than in Melbourne.
“A Geelong-Melbourne journey would take as little as 32 minutes by 2022,” Ross said.
“That’s only three years away!
“Now you’ve got two enormous public transport promises.
“It appears to me that Matthew Guy’s train arrives at the station quicker than Daniel Andrews’ train.”
“My train’s faster than yours!” Burnso said.
“Well my imaginary train’s faster than your imaginary train,” Ross replied.
