Rory Sloane rushed to hospital

Rory Sloane has been taken to hospital to have his appendix removed.

Adelaide said its star midfielder reported abdominal pain on Tuesday morning and after extensive investigation in recent hours it was determined that surgery was required.

In a weird coincidence, the news comes just weeks after it happened to Eddie Betts.

The Crows said they were “hopeful” Sloane would be available for next Thursday’s qualifying final against GWS.
