Rory Sloane and Matthew Richardson’s snap reaction to Conor Nash’s ‘wild swing’

Hawthorn’s Conor Nash is facing a suspension for a “wild swing” on Gryan Miers during Monday’s clash at the MCG.
Nash’s swinging arm collected Miers during the third term, with the Cats small forward immediately subbed out of the game with concussion.
“He’ll probably see some games (I reckon),” Adelaide legend Rory Sloane said in commentary on 3AW Football.

“They’re looking at the outcomes, if (Gryan Miers) is concussed, then he’s in trouble.”
Richmond great Matthew Richardson said Nash would ultimately be held responsible for the action, even if it wasn’t intentional.
“I don’t think his intent was to hit Miers,” he said.
“It was just a wild swing, once you do that as someone is concussed, you have to be responsible.”
