‘Ripped off!’: What staggered Mark Allen from the Blue Origin space trip

The Blue Origin all-female space flight crew has safely landed back in Texas, after a super-sonic flight to the edge of space, pushed into the atmosphere by a new Shepard rocket.
The six women on board included pop-star Katy Perry, Jeff Bezos’ bride-to-be Lauren Sanchez and journalist Gayle King, but Mark Allen was left staggered at the length of time the space crew experienced weightlessness.
“Now that is being ripped off!” Allen said on 3AW Breakfast.

“That’s like putting a gigantic McFlurry in front of a five-year-old, and he can only take one smartie!”
Astronomer with Australian National University, Dr Brad Tucker, said the space trip “is a sign of just how the market is changing”.
“It is a really quick experience,” Dr Tucker told Jimmy Bartel and Mark Allen.
