Matthew Richardson calls for education on coward punches after Noah Balta selection call

Noah Balta will make his return for Richmond on Saturday night against Gold Coast, despite awaiting sentencing in the coming days for an alleged assault in New South Wales late last year.
Richmond great Matthew Richardson has called for more education on the danger of coward punches in the wake of the club’s selection call.
“I’m looking at a bigger picture, I actually spoke to Matt Cronin from the Pat Cronin Foundation,” he said on Wide World of Sports.

“Noah (Balta) has made a horrendous decision. I think this is an opportunity for Richmond and the AFL now to come together now and work towards educating young people on the dangers of violence.”
