Cremorne bottle shop robbed twice in under an hour
Two teenagers have been arrested after a liquor store in Cremorne was robbed twice within an hour last night.
Police say a man entered the Swan Street store just after 7pm and ran out with some cans of alcohol.
Just under an hour later, two men entered the same store and more alcohol was stolen.
The pair was seen exiting the store by a passer-by, who spotted them again soon after at a park on White Street.
Police arrested one of the men, an 18-year-old from Oakleigh, the second man allegedly took off along Railway Crescent and onto the train tracks.
A short time later, police spotted the man in a railway yard and chased him on foot.
The man kept running across the railway tracks and jumped off a wall onto Stephenson Street, continuing on to Cubitt Street where he was quickly arrested.
He was taken to hospital with injuries he sustained after jumping from the wall.
The first 18-year-old was charged and will appear in court in November, the injured 18-year-old will be interviewed at a later time.
