Revealed: The new police choppers on the way to Melbourne

New police helicopters with military-style markings are on their way to Melbourne.

Neil Mitchell has been leaked photos of two designs, straight off the production line in Italy.

One of the AW139 choppers boasts standard white and blue of Victoria Police, but the other is military grey.

The new choppers will arrive early next year and be operational over Melbourne by July 2020.
