Retired Major General says Australia isn’t prepared for any conflict that may hit our shores

Retired Major General turned NSW Senator, Jim Molan, says Australia isn’t ready for any conflict that may hit our shores in the near future.

The Russian invasion of Ukraine has led to calls for a comprehensive national security strategy so Australia can better respond to threats like China.

Speaking on 3AW Drive, Senator Molan was asked whether Australia was adequately prepared.

“I don’t think anybody would claim that we are,” he said.
