Retail workers to wear body cameras after surge in vile customer abuse
Staff at several major retailers across the country will wear body cameras in a bid to curb vile abuse from customers.
The National Retail Association has found more than 88 per cent of retail workers have copped abuse from customers.
CEO of the National Retail Association, Dominique Lamb, says abuse and threats towards retail workers have surged since the pandemic began.
“There’s been an increase when it comes to threatening behaviour,” she told Neil Mitchell.
“Victoria is worst for retail crime across the country.”
