Residents in Melbourne’s west urged to lock their cars after ‘staggering’ statistics are revealed

Police are urging residents in the Wyndham area to lock their cars after it was revealed 63 per cent of vehicles broken into the area in the last month were unlocked.

And a large portion of cars forcefully broken into had valuables left out, for everyone to see.

But there was another statistic in the police report which really stood out to Ross Stevenson this morning.
