Police in Shepparton are appealing for public assistance to track down a man who stole a trailer and large orange generator from a council depot on three separate occasions.

Police believe the man gained access to a council depot on Doyles Road at around 11:30pm on December 4, just before midnight on December 6 and around 3:30am on December 7 to commit the burglaries.

It’s understood the man fled in a white Isuzu D-max ute bearing stolen registration plates.

The man is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, between 30 and 40-years-old with a medium build.
