Police have taken their ongoing pay dispute to a new level, using a chopper to disrupt a press conference involving the acting Premier.

Heidi Murphy received a tip about a police chopper deliberately flying about Ben Carroll’s presser on Tuesday morning.

Nine News reporter Amber Johnston was at the presser and confirmed the news to 3AW Mornings, as the police union’s battle over pay conditions with the state government continues.
