‘Race-based gobbledygook’: Tom Elliott reacts to the education training program used by the ABC

Tom Elliott has slammed the ABC for promoting what he describes is “race-based gobbledygook” after he was given the national broadcaster’s educational training program on racism.

The 3AW Mornings host says he was left appalled by one of the websites used by the ABC which promotes the idea white people have inherent power over people of colour in the workplace.

“This is demonising white people, this says if you are white, you automatically have power … This is the sort of race-based gobbledygook I thought we were beyond in this country,” he said.
