‘Quite remarkable’: Peter Dutton left ‘blown away’ by some independent MPs stances on Israel
Opposition leader Peter Dutton admits he was “blown away” by some teal independent MPs joining Greens leader Adam Bandt and three other Greens MPs pushing for a motion to condemn Israel.
The government and opposition pledged their support for the country as it defends itself against Hamas terrorists, but Greens MPs Adam Bandt, Elizabeth Watson-Brown, Stephen Bates and Max Chandler-Mather were joined by teal MPs Kylea Tink, Sophie Scamps and Andrew Wilkie in condemning Israel.
Mr Dutton told Neil Mitchell is was “quite remarkable”.
